I am a Minnesota Native and have lived in the Brainerd Lakes area for over 25 years with my beautiful wife, Maralee. We have been married for over 40 years, and together, we have five amazing children and six wonderful grandchildren. I received a degree in Business Management from Oral Roberts University in 1982. In addition to being a local State Farm agent, I previously served in the Minnesota Senate as the Majority Leader. It was a privilege to serve the people of Minnesota in that capacity, and I felt honored to be only the 29th person to have that position since 1858. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, gardening, sports, hunting, motorcycling, boating, and the great outdoors.

Our agency is a local small business gladly serving the Brainerd Lakes area, including Baxter, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Crosby, Pillager, Motley, Aitkin, Crosslake, Breezy Point, Staples, and other surrounding cities. We provide onsite services in our family-friendly and pet-friendly office and have a comfortable waiting area with coffee available. Walk-ins are welcome, and we accept many forms of payments.
