I am a Minnesota native and have lived in the Brainerd Lakes area for over 25 years with my beautiful wife, Maralee. We have been married for more than 40 years and are proud parents of five amazing children and grandparents to six wonderful grandchildren. I earned my degree in Business Management from Oral Roberts University in 1982, and in addition to being a local State Farm agent, I previously served in the Minnesota Senate as the Majority Leader. It was a true honor to serve the people of Minnesota and to be only the 29th person to hold that role since 1858. Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, gardening, sports, hunting, motorcycling, boating, and spending time outdoors.

Our agency is a local small business based in Baxter, MN, proudly serving the Brainerd Lakes area, including Baxter, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Crosby, Pillager, Motley, Aitkin, Crosslake, Breezy Point, Staples, and surrounding communities. We offer onsite service in our family-friendly and pet-friendly office, complete with a comfortable waiting area and coffee.
